Deck

An example of the major process of installation is shown below.

1. Marking joist position

-Mark the steel post (short pillar)position.

-Fix steel post (short pillar) by concrete screw or hole in anchor.

-Install girder onto steel post.

-Consider girder pitch and set up joist.

-Maximum joist pitch is 500mm

(smaller pitch than 450mm is recommended).

2. Steel post installation

-Fix steel post by concrete screw or hole in anch.

3. Girder installation

-Joist pitch shall be smaller than 500mm.

4. Joist installation

-Joist pitch shall be smaller than 500mm.

5. First deck plate installation

-Prepare a slanting hole on the first installation deck plate and screw the deck onto the joist.

-From the second plate installation, clip original fastener between deck plate and another plate and screw the fastener.

-Use #2 Bit of screwdriver.

6. Cautions for first deck plate installation

-In case screw directly on the deck plate, previously drill a prepared hole on the deck.

-Secure at least 5mm space for both vertical and horizontal joint (Reference: winter time smaller space preferable, summer time larger space preferable).
